St. Joseph Catholic Foundation is one of the foundations that has educational assistance programs for underprivileged students. The author discusses the Data Collection Information System realization of Educational Assistance Programs for underprivileged students using Visual Basic Programming Language 6.0 and MySQL Database. From the research conducted by the author at the Catholic Foundation of St. Joseph can be concluded, that the student data processing system and transaction recipients of aid that is running at the present time has not implemented a computerized system optimally, it is still only limited to typing using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications in inputing data reports data processing recipients of aid.
Yayasan Katolik Santo Yosef needs a new data processing information system by utilizing a computer system supported by visual basic 6.0 application program and MySQL storage media. Visual basic 6.0 and MySQL database is a software that is used to create an application program such as the creation of programs for the storage of student data and transactions of beneficiaries
